CE MARKING

Construction Products Regulation (CPR)

The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) lays down harmonised rules for the marketing of construction products in the EU. The Regulation provides a common technical language to assess the performance of construction products. It ensures that reliable information is available to professionals, public authorities and consumers, so that they can compare the performance of products from different manufacturers in different countries.

ATEX REGULATION

An example of applicability of the new ATEX directive 2014/34/EU is conversion of polyurethane manufacturing units from applying non-flammable blowing agents to applying flammable blowing agents.

The objective of the ATEX Guidelines is to clarify certain matters and procedures referred to in Directive 2014/34/EU1 concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Guidelines should be used in conjunction with the Directive itself and with the European Commission’s document “The ‘Blue Guide’ on the implementation of EU product rules“.

NEW BLOWING AGENTS FOR POLYURETHANE FOAMS
